Random thoughts & conflicts and How do I over come just by motivating my mind.

Facebook timeline

When Facebook first started experimenting with its radical new (and I think, sensational) Timeline interface back in late September, we showed you an 8-step way to get a sneak preview. Now, it’s a whole lot easier: You can enable the timeline with one click, and then publish it for all to see with one more.

Follow this quick slide show, and before you know it you’ll have the Facebook Timeline enabled on your own account. The best part is, after you click the “Get Timeline” button, you have seven days until it automatically goes live, but until then, you’re the only one who will see it until you authorize it to be published. However, if you don’t want to wait seven days, you can publish it any time by clicking “Publish Now.”

So for 7 days after you opt in, you can go through and edit whatever you’d like to hide from all your Facebook friends and followers, making sure your privacy is intact. Once you’ve pruned your Facebook Timeline to your comfort level, click the “Publish Now” button, and all your timeline goodness is immediately displayed for all to see.

Enable time line from here: http://www.facebook.com/about/timeline and click “Getting started”.

Code is Poetry, CSS is Art

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets which are styles that define how to display HTML elements. You can do anything from changing font colors to styling an entire site from scratch using CSS.

Not only does the Custom Design upgrade let you choose from 50+ custom fonts in the Fonts tab, it includes a CSS editor where you can save style rules after purchasing the upgrade or preview changes before buying.

Whether you are a design expert of amazing talent proportions or you are just learning the ways you can bend websites to your will, we think you’ll love making your WordPress.com sites even more beautiful with custom CSS. Beginners can start with the CSS Basics help page. Everyone is always welcome to share some CSS love in the WordPress.com CSS Customization forum where happiness engineers and amazingly tireless volunteers help with CSS questions.

Life @ @CET.

After having (poorly) completed mid semester exams at ALPHA college and completing 1 month in this college, I am not completely ready…set…go… to rock and roll. Actually after hard thinking upon this, I found many of my mistakes that I need to over come for having a good experience here. Some of my bad habits are:

  1. My attitude which is never in good mood and focused on the purpose for which I am going to college.
  2. Negative impact of the environment.
  3. Not concentrating on studies and emphasizing more on other matters. Most important is my addiction to internet.
  4. Procrastination is the evil during exam night preparations.
  5. And many more…

Need to over come soon and I will.

Thanks for reading.

Yours in heaven,
Viraj Kansara.

The Guy in the Glass

The Guy in the Glass

by Dale Wimbrow, (c) 1934

When you get what you want in your struggle for pelf,

And the world makes you King for a day,

Then go to the mirror and look at yourself,

And see what that guy has to say.

For it isn’t your Father, or Mother, or Wife,

Who judgement upon you must pass.

The feller whose verdict counts most in your life

Is the guy staring back from the glass.

He’s the feller to please, never mind all the rest,

For he’s with you clear up to the end,

And you’ve passed your most dangerous, difficult test

If the guy in the glass is your friend.

You may be like Jack Horner and “chisel” a plum,

And think you’re a wonderful guy,

But the man in the glass says you’re only a bum

If you can’t look him straight in the eye.

You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years,

And get pats on the back as you pass,

But your final reward will be heartaches and tears

If you’ve cheated the guy in the glass.

This poem written by Peter Dale Wimbrow in 1934, is, without doubt, his most well known work. It has touched the souls of millions of people the world over and it is with great warmth and rememberance to present the original version just as he penned it here.
